Interactive Health Solutions, Inc. is an industry-leading, NCQA-accredited provider of health and wellness solutions. Founded in 1991 and based in Arlington Heights, IL, Interactive Health Solutions (IHS) develops and offers wellness programs to employer groups focused on helping individual participants take accountability for their health, which over time, lowers healthcare costs for its customers. The IHS offering, which includes onsite biometric screening, telephonic health coaching and health compliance program management, has multiple benefits, including enhancing business performance, reducing the cost of medical benefits and increasing workforce productivity. IHS' philosophy of measure, monitor, reward is critical in driving superior employee participation and engagement in healthy behavior. IHS works with more than 1,000 fully-insured and self-insured companies with over one million total employees.
Objectives
With rising healthcare costs, employers are increasingly adopting compliance and incentive programs to raise employee health engagement and drive meaningful results from their health investments. IHS engaged TripleTree to assist the company in selecting a capital partner that could help it take advantage of a rapidly growing market opportunity while providing liquidity to long-time shareholders.
Results
The IHS management team and TripleTree sought a financial partner to help the Company capitalize on its market-leading position by accelerating growth through additional investments and strategic acquisitions. While planning to launch a formal process in 2012, Triple Tree assisted IHS to evaluate inbound interest by investors.
