Company Description

Revenue Cycle Partners (“RCP”) is a technology-enabled business process outsourcing (BPO) provider of revenue cycle management (RCM) services specializing in self-pay and account resolution services for hospitals.  RCP serves as an extension of a hospital’s business office in the management of patient accounts, offering a comprehensive solution in which it acts as the primary interface with patients on all billing matters. RCP works with patients to understand, verify, and collect account balances, correct for insurance or other third party reimbursement, administer hospital payment plans, determine eligibility for charity care, and other account resolution services.  RCP’s patient-centric approach strives to resolve each and every account with the highest level of compassion leading to increased patient satisfaction.


Objectives

RCP’s founder and Sage Capital, the Company’s financial sponsor, retained TripleTree as its investment banking advisor to align the Company with a strategic partner that would help the Company as it entered its next stage of growth while preserving its strong corporate culture and patient-centric approach, which truly makes RCP unique in the market. 
 

Results

RCP ultimately decided to partner with Avadyne Health, a provider of comprehensive RCM services ranging from third-party claims resolution to self-pay billing and collections.  Avadyne Health met all of RCP’s objectives and will advance the shared vision, strategy, and culture dedicated to improving RCM processes with a primary focus on patient satisfaction and hospital brand and reputation management.  Today, the combined companies are a market leading provider of RCM services and collectively possess unique processes and approaches along with strong technology enabling best practices in patient account resolution.
